Tom is the founder and managing director of Candover Hospitality. Prior to launching Candover he worked at Lazard Frères, Bain & Co., and Argent Fund—the family office of Arjun Waney, founder of Zuma, Coya, The Arts Club and LPM.
A graduate of the University of Oxford, he is based in Dubai and focuses on creating scalable hospitality investments with an emphasis on quality and value.
A seasoned hospitality professional, has extensive experience across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Having held leadership roles at globally recognised establishments like Zuma, Roka, and Mandarin Oriental, Daniel excels in team-driven operations and innovative business models. Based in Dubai since 2018, he is dedicated to building resilient F&B brands that leave a lasting impact.
